On Friday, September 27, over 30 sixth and seventh grade students from Cathedral of St. John Berchmans Catholic School came to CCNLA to volunteer. In addition to bringing a large donation of books and treats for those we serve in Gabriel’s Closet, students helped with a multitude of other tasks.
Because of their hard work, our ESL classes have new flashcards; Gabriel’s Closet is spruced up, organized, and full of books; folders for Money School are prepped and ready for use; and our facility is tidier and cleaner.
CCNLA is so appreciative of community partners like St. John Berchmans that prioritize serving their community!
